"Hesitant would be the word to describe my feelings when my in-patient treatment team recommended I seek sober-living coming out of in-patient treatment for my alcoholism. I have resisted this recommendation in the past but this time I knew I needed to do something new if I were to achieve long-term sobriety. "Serenity on Newman" welcomed me with open arms! Rick, the owner. is great, very relatable and compassionate. The "House Father" is outstanding, staying on top of resident concerns and offers practical daily support. Finally, I made some friends which I expect to keep as I transition to an apartment of my own.. Clean, comfortable, professionally managed, good fellow residents from a variety of backgrounds. This decision was one of the best I have ever made. You won't be disappointed!
